Mahina Douglas brings a wealth of experience to The Beliveau Group, shaped by a lifetime immersed in the world of real estate. Born in Hawaii, Mahina moved to Laurel, MD, as a young child and grew up watching her mother excel in the title business. By middle school, she was helping her mom prepare deeds and closing packages, which ignited a passion for real estate that continues to this day.
Mahina spent 15 successful years in the mortgage industry, where she met her husband, Shawn, and honed her skills with the details and nuances of real estate. In 2017, she became a Realtor and quickly made waves, earning the prestigious Rookie of the Year award at her brokerage.
Mahina’s early success led to her being tapped to coach and mentor over 200 agents within her prior brokerage, further honing her skills in communication, strategy, and problem-solving—all of which directly benefit her clients by ensuring they receive expert guidance and a seamless experience from start to finish.
Mahina’s career is marked by her commitment to excellence and a client-first approach. She has participated in over 200 real estate transactions throughout her career, and is eager to bring her expertise to even more clients through her work with The Beliveau Group. Her eye for detail and creative touch extend beyond contracts and negotiations. She previously worked as a retail visual merchandiser for prominent brands and now channels her design expertise to help her clients showcase their homes in their very best light.
Mahina’s deep connection to her Hawaiian roots shapes her life and work, grounded in cherished memories of time spent with her father on the beaches of Kailua and a profound love for the culture, land and people of Hawaii. Her two children - Greyson (13), a spirited soccer and lacrosse player, and Asia (24), a talented interior designer - bring vibrancy and creativity into their family.
